Center for Intercultural Training
CIT, which started with one student in 1989, has consistently had one goal in mind: to train and equip missionaries and their families for cross-cultural living and ministry. CIT is a Partnership of missional agencies, churches and organizations working together to this end. Due to the high attrition of first term missionaries, CIT strives to build cross-cultural awareness and skills in a community-based learning environment, giving attention to the personal, spiritual, and family needs of their students so they will not only survive in a cross-cultural setting, but will truly thrive in a different cultural environment.
Christians in the Visual Arts exists to explore and nurture the relationship between the VISUAL ARTS and the CHRISTIAN FAITH. Founded in 1979, CIVA first met to consider the place of the Christian artist in the church and in the world-at-large. The success of this initial gathering led CIVA to establish a vision for activities which are now making an impact in a variety of ways. t is our purpose to encourage Christians in the visual arts to develop their particular callings to the highest professional level possible; to learn how to deal with specific problems in the field without compromising our faith and our standard of artistic endeavor; to provide opportunities for sharing work and ideas; to foster intelligent understanding, a spirit of trust, and a cooperative relationship between those in the arts, the church, and society; and ultimately, to establish a Christian presence within the secular art world.

Music is an international language, understood beyond geographical boundaries. Musicians and other artists are forerunners of new cultural trends. They play an important role in conveying values and serving as role models for young people. The world is not as it ought to be. We long for meaningful existence and involvement in our culture - to make our world a better place and to be part of a story greater than ourselves. But too often our reality is a broken and fragmented story in which value and dignity are stripped from humanity. Art, as a universal language, can begin to address this dehumanization. The world needs artists and visionaries to lead the way in seeing beyond the trivial to the transcendent, bringing synthesis to fragmentation and hope to despair. International Arts Movement is a non-profit 501(c)(3) arts organization acting as a catalyst which inspires people to engage culture’s spheres of influence. IAM presents lectures, performances, exhibitions, screenings, projects and workshops. Our programming and resources equip the creative community to generate good, true and beautiful cultural artifacts: sign-posts pointing toward the “world that ought to be.” Through understanding the culture that is and looking toward what can be, we hope to rehumanize our world. We are guided by the belief that the Judeo-Christian story of creation and restoration is one in which all humanity participates and the foundation by which humanity can flourish. We look to these scriptures as the framework to wrestle with the questions "why art” and "what does it mean to truly be human".

Forming Artists to Reform Culture StoneWorks is a global arts initiative for cultural restoration and the recovery of the imagination in the life and mission of the church. StoneWorks exists to articulate a global vision for Christians in the arts, to clarify the biblical and theological mandate for the arts, to affirm what artists are sensing that God is doing through the arts around the world, and to call Christians to be a part of it. StoneWorks gathers Christian arts leaders, innovators, and culture shapers in the spheres of the church, the marketplace, the academy, and missions, in order to mentor and encourage them to partner together and share resources. We envision a time when Christians engaged in the arts will be excellent in their craft, spiritually mature in their walk, humble in their attitude, servant-hearted in motivation, moral in lifestyle, and uncompromising in their faithfulness to Christ—in every diverse cultural context of our world, exhibiting a lifestyle of creativity and beauty, pointing to the day in which the Original Artist will make “all things new.”
